Festiva Chinese Restaurant – Cabo de Palos (opposite Mercadona)

El Navegante – Cabo de Palos (on the front overlooking Med)
Price ££ - menu – Traditional Spanish
Our favourite – Ensalada de Casa (house salad), Dorada en Sal, Paella, any Fish
This is our personal favourite of all the fish restaurants in Cabo de Palos

El Patio II – Los Alcazares (on right driving to L.A. from L.A. north exit of motorway)
Price ££ - menu – bbq (fantastic range)
Our favourite – Red meat to stones (cook your own beef on a hot stone on your table)
This is a real experience, huge bbq & all meat is cut fresh, fantastic

La Encarnacion – Los Alcazares (on beach front, 300m left along the promenade from the marina)
Price £££ - menu – Spanish with fantastic contemporary presentation
Our favourite – anything !! tremendous choice
This 19th century hotel is in a fabulous location right on the front – make sure you visit the courtyard with it’s hundreds of geraniums – 5 star service

La Casa de Reloj – at the northern entrance to San Pedro
Price £££ - menu – Up market Spanish
Our favourite – Spanish starters, veal & beef, again pretty much anything !
This restaurant is set in a fabulous old mansion which has been renovated – definitely worth a visit for a special evening
